Investigation Specialists LLC owner Tony Tersigni is a veteran investigator having personally conducted thousands of interviews in his 40 plus-year career. Tony has an extensive background in the criminal justice system including criminal case defenses, mental health defenses, and traffic related personal injury defenses. Tony holds POST, Commercial Vehicle and Paralegal Certificates.

Tony started his career in 1983 as a California Highway Patrolman. He worked traffic enforcement before being assigned as the WLA office Court Liaison. As the WLA Court Liaison he was responsible for sitting down with District and City Attorneys to review all criminal case filings for the WLA office. Tony was eventually assigned to the elite Protective Services Detail, providing escort and protection for visiting dignitaries such as President Ronald Reagan, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and President George H. W. Bush, to name a few.

In 1986 Tony opened "PAGES" Appellate Brief Publishing Services in west Los Angeles. Tony worked for some of the most prestigious law firms in the Los Angeles area typesetting, conforming, and publishing briefs for the California Appellate, California Supreme, United States Appellate and United States Supreme courts.

Tony joined the Orange County Public Defenders Office (OCPD) in1995. Tony was assigned to the OCPD's newly formed Capital Crimes Unit (CCU). Tony served in the CCU for 5 years working some of the most complex Death Penalty cases in the state before being transferred into the OCPD's Mental Health Unit (MHU) to hone his knowledge of mentally ill defenses. Tony served 4 years in the MHU before transferring to their Superior Court Investigation Unit. Tony completed a 20-year career with the OCPD working every kind of complex criminal defense case imaginable before opening his own private investigation firm.

Tony has dedicated his life to public service. He applies his extensive knowledge of the California legal system on behalf of his clients in a zealous pursuit for justice.
